“Bridging
the Gap” Fundraiser
Thanks to our event co-chairs and sponsors!
The Chicago
Appleseed Fund for Justice is pleased to announce the success of its
fundraiser “Bridging the Gap.” Held on Wednesday, March 29 at the InterContinental
Hotel, and co-hosted with Appleseed, the event honored Stephen Gates,
Senior Vice President and General Counsel of ConocoPhillips Company,
and Robert L. Graham, Partner at Jenner & Block, LLP for their commitment
to social justice. Keynote speaker Fay Clayton extolled the importance
of using pro bono service to advance the public interest.
Over 200
guests attended the event, and the organizations raised over $200,000
for research and advocacy programs. We thank our event co-chairs and
sponsors for making our first annual joint fundraiser a huge success!
