The FJLOC is a program with competitive admission that offers research, writing, and professional development workshops, lawyer and law student mentors, collaborative group social justice research projects, and opportunities for court watching and justice advocacy.
The FJLOC offers its graduates the opportunity to join the FJLOC Alumni Association, a group of 80 graduates of the FJLOC program who engage in mentoring, advocacy, and social justice community building.
The 2026 FJLOC cohort consisted of 60 undergraduate and high school students, coming from local Chicago colleges and high schools. We are so proud not only of the research that our students have done in these reports, but also of their continued advocacy efforts together in the Chicago area.
